Positive Posters Project
This is a great idea.
Positive Posters is a non-profit international poster competition, that "gives graphic designers an outlet to create freely, and to use their skills to inspire, challenge and make a positive difference in a non-commerical way".
This year's theme was "A glass half full"

The "Buy Local" Movement
For the best small business trends of 2010 and 2011, "Buy Local" was at the top of the list. There are many factors that contribute to this trend but the main reason is that we (as the consumer) want to support local businesses.
